The Focus On Films Society See your favourite films on a large screen (13ft by 9ft) in Eaton Bray Village Hall.

We meet at 2.00pm on the second Monday of each month between September and May.

Come and join us to see some excellent films and enjoy the social atmosphere with a cup of tea and a chat after the film.

This season, the Film Society will meet on the following dates:

Anna and the KingThe story of the romance between the King of Siam and the widowed British schoolteacher Anna Leonowens during the 1860's.

AmadeusThe incredible story of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, told in flashback mode by Antonio Salieri - now confined to an insane asylum.

ShadowlandsC.S. Lewis, a world-renowned writer and professor, leads a passionless life until he meets spirited poet Joy Gresham.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance KidTwo Western bank/train robbers flee to Bolivia when the law gets too close.

The Constant GardnerA widower is determined to get to the bottom of a potentially explosive secret involving his wife's murder, big business, and corporate corruption.

On Golden PondVisiting his summer house by a Maine lake with his wife, a prickly English professor forges an unlikely bond with a lonely boy, comes to terms with his daughter, and suffers disorienting effects of mild dementia.

About the Focus On Films Society

The Society meets nine times a year between September and the following May.

Membership fees are payable twice annually by mid-August and mid-January, and are £16 per half year - this equates to £3.55 per film.

Guests are admitted before joining, to allow them to see how we operate, or so that members can bring a friend. Guests will be charged £4.

Note: film societies are unable to admit under 16s.

The Society is not intended to be profit making and seeks only to cover running and maintenence costs. We now own all our own equipment and have recently purchased new comfortable seats.
